Trinity Heritage Days

Join us for Trinity Heritage Days, May 9, 2026, 11am-4 pm, for an Experience Honoring the Land, Peoples, and Stories of our Place. Bring mom and the family to this hands-on cultural experience held on the Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend. This is a free community event for all ages, with a celebration of traditional arts and foods and drop-in art, music and dance workshops such as animal skinning, making jewelry, flint knapping arrow heads, processing acorns into food, learn to hunt with the Atlatyl, make a dream catcher with tribal artists hosted by the Nor-Rel-Muk Wintu Nation at the Highland Art Center Meadow. Learn about the Chinese history at the Joss House State Historic Park and enjoy crafts. Explore the Pioneer history at the Jake Jackson Museum, and get to know the Hmong who will be sharing their culture in front of the Joss House. Opening Ceremony takes place at 11 am.
