1st Saturday of every month, the Arts Council hosts an Art Walk in historic Weaverville that includes from 8 to 15 venues. The Wildflower & Nature Festival is a free community event offering fun for all ages. Shasta Wildlife Rescue's Open House/Baby Shower
Shasta Wildlife Rescue is once again having their Annual Open House/Baby Shower. This event is the only time the public is allowed to walk through the facility and find out how we care for the many animals that come into our care. Meet our Ambassador Animals and their handlers, make a bird seed feeder for the birds in your own backyard, get a critter painted on your face by our face painter, come meet the publishers of children's books and some of the authors of the books too! The first 75 children will receive Baby Shower favors. Help defray the cost of providing care by bringing some rolls of paper towels and toilet paper as your Baby Shower gift to the babies!
